I create realistic drawings on wood with
every detail better than a photo.
Why on wood? I have been drawing
and painting on wood for over 20 years.
Something about the warmth wood brings
to the portrait and the physical permanence
of the piece. Sit on your desk or hang on
the wall, these portraits don't need
expensive framing after paying for the
portrait.
I completely varnish every portrait
and give a walnut stand for display options.
It takes 10 hours minimum drawing time on
each portrait to ensure I capture your pet or
person's personality. The most popular size
is 6"x6"
' but I build all my panels so any size
is possible. All animals are welcome and their
human counter parts upon request!
I live in Austin, TX and work from my home
studio. I enjoy spending time with my young daughter, Greta,
Woody the dog, Junior, Lady Di, Pearl, Gracie, Domino and Kathy the
silkie chickens, Sydney the rabbit, and Violet
the goldfish

Small Portraits

A little bit larger at 8” x 8” and 15-20 hours of drawing time. Ready to hang no framing necessary and includes a stand to display on desk or nightstand.
Large Portraits
Starting at 10” x 10” with no limit on how large with a minimum of 25 hours of drawing time. These portraits hang from a wire on a box frame, no framing necessary
